Shaun Bissessarsingh
“Working at Angostura has offered me the opportunity to develop as a HR professional. As an intern I was able to gain a holistic experience to HR and its contribution to the business, from recruitment, engagement, succession planning and so much more. My internship has truly given me a better appreciation for my field of study and my career in the world of HR. What I valued most about my experience is by being a part of the HR Team I was introduced to all operations of the business which gave me clear understanding of Angostura and the importance of HR towards the business.
I am currently a HR Generalist at Angostura responsible for various HR functions that pose an essential role in the department and the business.”

I believe everyone should do this internship because it is a great opportunity to apply the knowledge you gained in school to a professional work setting.”

Kerlene Lee
“My yearlong internship at Angostura Limited was a great experience! During my tenure with the HSSE Team I became well acquainted with applying what I had learnt in the classroom to real safety situations but was by no means limited to only safety. I was afforded the opportunity of a first-hand look into Security and the Health and Wellness aspects of the business. In the office, a very friendly atmosphere existed and the close mentoring and assistance from employees was one of the highlights. It solidified what I would want to pursue in the future as I now know how much I value and enjoy the practical aspects which also expands into both the project management and communication fields. The internship was an extremely enriching experience and the insights I gained will influence my future professional career.”
