Dr. John Alleyne
Director
Dr. John Clement Alleyne is a plant scientist with over thirty (30) years of experience in teaching, research, extension outreach and management, while working with local and international universities, non-governmental institutions, and agricultural entities. He is currently the Special Adviser for Agriculture to the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.
Dr. Alleyne holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Washington State University, a Master of Science in Plant Science from the University of Idaho, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Science from the University of Arkansas.
Dr. Alleyne is a member of the 'Multi-Sectoral Committee of Twenty' commissioned to develop the Roadmap for Economic Recovery of Trinidad and Tobago.
