Rahim Mohammed is a dynamic professional whose wealth of experience and unwavering commitment to excellence have defined his impactful journey with Angostura since November 2017. As the Executive Manager - Corporate Services, Rahim was instrumental in shaping the organization’s core functions, overseeing Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Health, Safety, Security & Environment, Information & Communications Technology, and Office Services.

Rahim’s versatility is evident in his numerous roles at Angostura. From May 2019 to August 2020, he served as Executive Manager – Marketing, showcasing his ability to excel in diverse domains. His leadership extended further when he led the International Sales team from September 2020 to February 2023, strategically expanding Angostura’s global market reach. Additionally, from January 2022 to February 2023, he took on the role of Executive responsible for Supply Chain, further cementing his reputation as a multifaceted leader. He currently holds the title of Angostura’s Executive Manager for Business Efficiency & Shared Services.

An academic powerhouse, Rahim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in General Management, specializing in Finance, Human Resources, and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, where he graduated with First Class Honors. He is also a SHRM Certified Professional and has completed Post Graduate training in Executive Leadership from Harvard Business School. His academic and professional accomplishments were recognized in 2023 when he received the Maxine Barnett Award for HR Excellence at the HRMATT HR Legacy Awards.

Rahim’s career is a testament to his adaptability and expertise across various sectors, including Financial Services, Insurance, Education, Automotive, Manufacturing, Retail, and Distribution. His diverse background enriches his leadership style, enabling him to navigate the complexities of modern business effectively.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Rahim is deeply committed to community engagement and social responsibility. He serves as a Director of the Princess Elizabeth Centre, supporting differently-abled children. He is also a Director of the Gender Advisory Board at the Institute for Gender and Development Studies at the University of the West Indies, promoting gender equality and inclusivity.

Rahim’s leadership journey began early; at 27, he became Sector HR Manager at ANSA McAL for the automotive sector overseeing Trinidad & Barbados. He was the only HR Executive within the ANSA McAL Group at the time to be appointed to a subsidiary company board and was awarded Group Employee of the Year among 6,000 employees. He has also served as a Director at Grenada Breweries Limited and volunteered at United Way.
