The week-long festival, held in Malaysia, brought together top bartenders, industry legends, and cocktail enthusiasts from across the region. Angostura’s presence was felt across multiple headline events, where the brand’s premium portfolio—including Angostura® Reserva 3-year-old rum, Angostura® 7-year-old rum, Angostura® Tamboo, Amaro di Angostura®, and our 200-Year Anniversary Limited-Edition bitters took centre stage.

Angostura’s reigning Global Cocktail Challenge 2024/2025 Asia Champion, Shawn Chong, captivated guests at Round Bar with a sold-out shift that showcased the artistry and depth of the company’s premium range. Guests lined up well before doors opened, and the event sold out quickly, a testament to Shawn’s creativity and Angostura’s enduring global influence.

Making his Penang Cocktail Week debut, Ray Letoa, Angostura’s Brand Ambassador from New Zealand, headlined a lively guest shift at Biso Bar. Set to the upbeat rhythms of soca music, his showcase celebrated Angostura’s rum-making heritage with cocktails such as the crowd favourite, Queen’s Park Swizzle. All cocktails were sold out before midnight.
