Mr. Guiseppi is a seasoned finance executive with more than 30 years of experience in investment, corporate and retail banking across the Caribbean and Central America.

Throughout his career, Mr. Guiseppi has held senior executive and board leadership positions across the financial services sector. He has chaired the boards of three financial institutions and served as a director of seven financial institutions across three Caribbean jurisdictions, including RBC Merchant Bank in Trinidad and Tobago, Belize Bank and Belize Bank International in Belize, British Caribbean Bank in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and Belize Bank Corporate Services Limited, formerly Scotiabank, in Belize. He has also served on the boards of Development Finance Limited and Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited, which was listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM until 2020.

Beyond financial services, Mr. Guiseppi has held directorships with a number of prominent corporations and industry organizations across the Caribbean and Central America. These have included the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association, the British Caribbean Chamber of Commerce, RGM, a major Caribbean property development company, Gami, a property development company in Martinique, and Numa, a major palm oil operation in Costa Rica.

His public-sector experience includes an appointment in 2003 to a Cabinet Committee established to review the financial sector of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2004, he was appointed to assist in developing Vision 2020, Trinidad and Tobago’s long-term national development strategy.

From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Guiseppi was Managing Director of RBTT Merchant Bank, a regional investment bank, where he led and advised on financing and capital market transactions across the Caribbean and Central America.

From August 2008 to October 2022, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Caribbean Investment Holdings Limited and Executive Chairman of the Belize Bank. In these roles, he provided strategic leadership across the group and its financial services operation.
