Peter Ghany

Director

Mr. Peter Ghany is an accomplished entrepreneur, business executive, educator, and corporate director with more than two decades of experience in business leadership, strategic management, and regional enterprise development.

Mr. Ghany began his entrepreneurial career while completing his Bachelor of Business Commerce at Ryerson University, where he founded the consultancy firm Ghany, Michna & Associates. He subsequently earned an MBA with Honours from Clarkson University in New York.

Upon returning to Trinidad and Tobago in 1998, Mr. Ghany assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of Esau Oilfield Supplies Company Limited (ESAU). Under his leadership, ESAU grew into one of the Caribbean’s leading distributors of oilfield supplies and equipment. He subsequently expanded the company’s operations internationally, establishing a presence in Columbia, Guyana and The United States.

In addition to his executive leadership, Mr. Ghany brings extensive experience in education and professional development. For approximately 20 years, he has lectured at UWI School of Business and the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, where he has shared his practical business knowledge and expertise with the next generation of business professionals.

Mr. Ghany currently serves as a Director of the Scotiabank Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago. His experience in entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, strategic growth, and education provides a valuable perspective on governance, organizational development, and sustainable business growth.
