Port of Spain, Trinidad. August 17th, 2021: Angostura® donated over 2,000 COVID-19 care packages across the country through mass vaccination sites for persons who have been vaccinated.
The care packages were distributed to Angostura’s fenceline communities of Morvant/Laventille through the Loveuntil Foundation and Chinapoo Police Youth Club. Other NGOs including Heores Foundation, Autistic Society, TTPS Victims and Witness Support Unit also received packages to donate to families across the country.
As part of encouraging everyone to get vaccinated, Angostura® took a decision to visit mass vaccination sites to distribute COVID-19 care packages. Each package consisted of a bottle of Angostura hand sanitizer, bottle of Lifebuoy antibacterial handwash, pack of Lifebuoy antibacterial wet wipes and five surgical masks. We as a corporate citizen would like to be part of the solution and encourage people to get vaccinated. The Company’s objective is to work with groups like the Supermarket Association of T&T, T&T Manufacturers Association, Chamber of Industry and Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce, Couva Chamber of Commerce and Chaguanas Chamber of Commerce on the vaccination drive.
