In celebration of our 200th anniversary, the House of Angostura hosted guests to celebrate the closing of Bar Convent Berlin (BCB) at Fête de Angostura in June. BCB is the largest global trade fair for the bar and beverage industry where bar owners, bartenders, distributors and manufacturers from around the world visit to learn about product innovations and trends and to attend seminars.

This year, Bar Convent Brooklyn was held in New York and was attended by top class bartenders, mixologists, and industry leaders. Fête de Angostura was held at Bar Bedford and the Jolene Sound Room in Brooklyn, New York. This event seamlessly blended tradition, culture, and festivity, truly embodying the spirit of Angostura®.

One of our top tier cocktails, Angostura® Queen’s Park Swizzle was a favourite among the crowd, as well as the Carnival dancers who brought the energy and excitement of Trinidad Carnival, creating an unforgettable experience for all attendees. An on-site poet created personalised poems for guests about their Angostura® journey.

Angostura’s Chief Brand Educator, Raymond Edwards provided training to the bartenders, ensuring they were well-versed in all our cocktails, rums, and bitters, delivering a top-notch experience for all attendees.

At BCB, Angostura® showcased its extensive portfolio, including its celebrated bitters and award-winning rums, to a diverse and influential audience. This partnership not only strengthens Angostura’s presence in the international market but also reinforces its legacy as a pioneer in the spirits industry which exemplifies the brand’s dedication to fostering creativity and elevating the art of cocktail making.
