Gerard Cooper is an accomplished Senior Finance and Analytics Executive with over two decades’ experience in the finance and telecommunications industries. Gerard possesses a diverse skill set and an extensive leadership background, consistently demonstrating expertise in financial management, strategic analysis, and operational excellence.

Gerard has served in various executive positions at Telecommunication Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) since 2006, notably as Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure, Gerard played a key role in executing a 100% acquisition of a major competitor, securing billions in strategic financing, and establishing rigorous financial processes.

Beyond finance, Gerard has overseen the Operations and Administration, Shared Services, and Strategic Analytics functions at TSTT, leading initiatives in business intelligence, enterprise risk management, and regulatory affairs.

Prior to his roles at TSTT, Gerard held key positions at Citigroup, RBTT Securities, and Grace Kennedy. He completed his MSc. in Applied Analytics at Columbia University and is also a graduate of Northeastern University. His educational background is complemented by professional qualifications including CPA and FCCA. Gerard is also an active contributor to the telecommunications industry, serving as a Director and Treasurer Officer for CANTO.
