Kathryna is an Attorney-at-Law with over twenty-five (25) years’ experience in various areas including corporate, commercial, compliance and employment law and has held senior executive management roles in both public and private sector entities.

As of May 2024, she has been tasked with spearheading the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) portfolio. This pivotal role underscores our dedication to maintaining sustainable manufacturing operations, fostering positive environmental impacts, supporting our communities by promoting social sustainability and upholding the highest governance standards.

Angostura, famously known for its world-renowned aromatic bitters is a publicly listed company on the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange. The Company is also home to a superb collection of award-winning, iconic rum brands which have a geographic reach into 170 countries.

Prior to joining Angostura, Kathryna served as the Manager-Legal/Corporate Secretary of the Trinidad Cement Limited Group (Cemex) with subsidiaries based in Jamaica, Barbados and Guyana from 2013 to 2019. She also held the position of Legal Manager/Company Secretary of the Trinidad and Tobago National Petroleum Marketing Company Limited from 2005 to 2010.

Kathryna is a graduate of the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Honours) and attained her Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Hugh Wooding Law School. She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration Degree (EMBA) (Distinction) from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business and graduated as the 2011 class Valedictorian. She also tutored at the Hugh Wooding Law School and has presented at several seminars on Corporate Governance and ESG.

Kathryna is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean Corporate Governance Institute. In 2023, she was appointed as a Director of the Latin American & Caribbean Counsel Association.
