Angostura rums have secured outstanding international recognition at The Spirits Business Rum & Cachaça Masters 2026, receiving seven accolades for its premium rum range.
The Rum & Cachaça Masters is a prestigious blind-tasting competition organised by The Spirits Business, judged by leading spirits experts who assess entries on taste, balance, complexity, and overall quality.
This achievement underscores the exceptional quality and craftsmanship of Angostura’s premium rum portfolio, standing out among 158 entries from 60 companies worldwide.
The company earned a total of two MASTER, three GOLD, and two SILVER medals from a total of seven entries. The competition’s highest distinction, the MASTER medals were awarded to Angostura Founders Reserve 1824® and Angostura® 15-year-old
Angostura® 3-year-old, Angostura® 5-year-old, Angostura® 7-year-old, each earned gold medals, while Angostura Grand Reserve 1919® and Angostura® Tamboo, were awarded silver medals.
These results highlight not only the exceptional quality of the rums, but also the brand’s continued evolution and innovation within the global spirits market.
