ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters was one of the key ingredients used in the world’s most expensive cocktail created by international master mixologist, Salvatore Calabrese, better known as The Maestro.
This was made at a fine dining restaurant and cocktail bar, Nahaté in Dubai, UAE and was priced at a staggering US$41,160 or over TT$275,000, setting a record for luxury mixology. It was served in a rare crystal Baccarat glassware made in 1937. This cocktail was made with ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters from the 1930s, a special blend of Patrón tequila alongside Kina Lillet from 1950.

Our bitters was chosen for its complexity and exceptional craftmanship. This expensive cocktail was made for an auction during what was labelled the “world’s most luxurious cocktail event”. The winner of the auction received the cocktail.
