Angostura® has been an avid supporter of T&T’s vibrant cultural heritage for many decades, evident in our commitment to promoting our national instrument, the steelpan. The Company was therefore thrilled to support the Patrons of the Arts Foundation’s Artistic Bursary (POTAF), which was established to support artists pursuing tertiary education in the field of Performing Arts in Trinidad and Tobago. 

The 13^th edition of the Bursary was awarded to assist aspiring pannists pursuing the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and the Pan Fellowship Programme at the University of Trinidad & Tobago. Angostura® was pleased to sponsor the first-place award which went to Kymani Mc Phie, who demonstrated outstanding talent among the fifteen persons who applied for the award.

The Bursary, which is awarded to the top 3 contestants, will assist them in underwriting the cost of tuition, accommodation, air travel and educational materials during their participation in the Fellowship Programme at the University of Trinidad and Tobago.

Angostura® extends congratulations to Kymani and all of the other winners of the Bursary and wishes them all the best in the programme.
