Angostura® is celebrating another remarkable year of international recognition, earning an impressive collection of medals across four of the world’s most respected spirits competitions. Throughout the years, Angostura® rums have won numerous awards and this year, our products and distillery captured 20 accolades from the World Spirits Award 2025, International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), Spirits Business Rum & Cachaça and Liqueur Masters 2025.

At the World Spirits Award, held at St. Kilian Distillers in Germany and known for its focus on quality, craftsmanship, and innovation, Angostura’s Premium rum range and Angostura® Tamboo Spiced rum received medals – Angostura® 3-year-old – Gold, Angostura® 5-year-old – Gold, Angostura® 7-year-old – Gold, Angostura Grand Reserve 1919® – Gold, Angostura Founders Reserve 1824® – Gold, Angostura® 15-year-old – Silver and Angostura® Tamboo Spiced rum – Gold.

In assessing 13 distilleries, Angostura® also received an award, being classified as a World Class Distillery.

In London, at the world-renowned IWSC, Angostura® continued its winning streak, further cementing its global reputation for excellence – Angostura® 3-year-old – Bronze, Angostura® 5-year-old – Silver, Angostura® 7-year-old – Bronze, Angostura Grand Reserve 1919® – Bronze, Angostura Founders Reserve 1824® – Silver and Angostura® 15-year-old – Silver. These rums were awarded following a tasting of over 4,000 spirits from around the world by over 200 judges.

At the Spirits Business Rum & Cachaça Masters competition, which was also held in London, Angostura® was recognised once again for its excellence in rum production – Angostura® 3-year-old – Silver, Angostura® 5-year-old – Gold, Angostura® 7-year-old – Gold, Angostura Grand Reserve 1919® – Silver and Angostura Founders Reserve 1824® – Gold.  Angostura® also celebrated a standout victory at The Liqueur Masters, where Amaro di Angostura® earned a prestigious Gold Medal.
