We welcomed over 150 regional and international delegates to our facility as part of the West Indies Rum and Spirits Producers’ Association (WIRSPA) Supplier Showcase and Technical Conference held in Trinidad and Tobago.

The delegates included industry suppliers, producers and technical experts. They toured several key areas of our operations including rum blending, distillation, ageing and warehousing, bitters bottling, and our Water Resource Recovery and Anaerobic Digester.

The visit provided an opportunity for our global industry partners to experience firsthand the rich heritage, innovation, craftsmanship, and operational excellence that continue to position Angostura as a world-renowned producer of bitters and rums.

Angostura also collaborated with WIRSPA and Omnifission to host a cocktail reception for the delegates. Minister of Trade, Investment and Tourism, Senator the Honourable Satyakama Maharaj, delivered the feature address at the cocktail reception. Remarks were also delivered by the CEOs of Angostura, WIRSPA and Omnifission.
