The Angostura Foundation donated a total of $40,000 to four animal shelters, raised through proceeds from Paws in the Savannah—our inaugural dog-friendly event held in April, at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
The event brought together families, animal lovers and their four-legged companions for a day of fun, wellness and awareness in a pet-friendly atmosphere.

The Trinidad & Tobago Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TTSPCA), Animal Welfare Network, Animals Alive and The Mustapha Project each received $10,000.

These shelters took part in the event, where they hosted educational booths that promoted pet adoption and raised awareness about animal welfare.

The Angostura Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to every company that joined us for Paws in the Savannah and contributed to the shelters’ ongoing work.

The donation reflects the Foundation’s social pillar which seeks to promote our unwavering commitment to responsible pet ownership and supporting the ongoing work of animal rescuers and welfare organisations throughout the country.
We remain committed to fostering a culture of compassion, care and responsibility for animals and the communities we share.
