Port of Spain, Trinidad. January 31st 2020. In December 2019, Angostura Limited hosted members of the Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce, from the United Kingdom, during their visit to Trinidad, as part of their annual engagement with members of the Caribbean chapters of the British-Caribbean Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) and with companies who do business or are interested in doing business in the UK.
Lord Howard of Lympne, Patron of the BCCC, and his three-member team delegation met with newly appointed company CEO, Mr. Peter Sandström, COO, Mr. Ian Forbes and other executives, who took the opportunity to discuss Angostura’s long presence in the UK and its growing market in that region. Of the visit by the representatives from the Chamber, Mr. Sandström stated, “the UK is an incredibly important market for Angostura and our long history as the leading bitters will continue to forge further growth”.
The luncheon served a dual purpose, as Angostura was happy to renew its patronage relationship with the BCCC Trinidad chapter, which started in 2013 and which will pave the way for strengthening ties between the two organisations and enable collaborative projects. Newly installed Chairman of the BCCC, Mr. Ravi Rampersad, who also attended the luncheon said, “the BCCC is honoured by the continued patronage of Angostura, one of our most esteemed members. We indeed look forward to future collaborations and building upon our synergies”.
