Angostura® stepped forward to provide assistance to Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl. The devastating hurricane caused widespread destruction on the island, displacing thousands and causing extensive damage to infrastructure.
In response to this crisis, the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association, in collaboration with Angostura®, undertook a comprehensive relief effort to aid the affected communities and assist in the recovery process.
Angostura® donated essential supplies such as generators, tarpaulins, flashlights and batteries, plywood sheets, mattresses, sheet sets and pillows, diapers, soap, toothpaste, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitisers, cases of water and Angostura® Chill. These supplies are crucial in meeting the immediate needs of the affected population.
“As a Caribbean-rooted Company, we stand by our neighbours in times of need. Our assistance to both islands following Hurricane Beryl reflects our dedication to supporting communities and fostering resilience. Together, we can rebuild and reinforce the bonds that unite our islands,” – Laurent Schun, CEO of Angostura®.
This goodwill embodies Angostura’s core values of PRIME – Passion, Respect, Integrity, Mutual Trust, and Excellence. Our commitment to these principles drives us to take action, especially in times of need.
