Angostura® developed a special rum for the 50^th anniversary of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). The Limited Edition Angostura Tribute CARICOM release will be given to CARICOM for regional and international hospitality events, international missions and embassies of member states. The rum will be displayed and sampled at various events hosted by the embassies, aimed at promoting Caribbean rum and celebrating the achievements of CARICOM over 50 years. 

The creation of this rum was done in collaboration with the West Indies Rum and Spirits Producers’ Association (WIRSPA). Angostura Tribute CARICOM release showcases the expertise and innovation of Angostura’s all-female blending team. Associating with a significant regional milestone such as the 50th anniversary of CARICOM enhances Angostura’s brand heritage. This partnership highlights the historical and cultural importance of Caribbean rum, positioning Angostura® as a custodian of this legacy. 

Two hundred and forty bottles of Angostura Tribute CARICOM release were produced. Angostura’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr Ian Forbes commented that it was an honour for the Company to collaborate with WIRSPA on this innovation, “This rum not only celebrates CARICOM’s 50th anniversary but also highlights the exceptional quality and unique heritage of Caribbean rum.
