Angostura’s commitment to expanding its presence in the UK market was highlighted by its involvement in Rum-O-Rama: A Trinidad and Tobago Experience. The event was hosted at the High Commission for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. 

As the centrepiece of the event, Angostura® showcased its iconic rums and world-renowned bitters through a selection of expertly crafted cocktails by acclaimed mixologist Marc Woods.  

The event fostered connections with key stakeholders, including diplomats, food and beverage distributors, hoteliers, and retailers, laying the groundwork for future collaborations. Attendees were immersed in the vibrant culture of Trinidad and Tobago, complete with a live steelpan performance, Carnival costumes, and local culinary delights, further reinforcing the unique heritage that Angostura® brings to the international market. 

His Excellency Vishnu Dhanpaul, High Commissioner for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, praised Angostura’s pivotal role in the UK’s trade landscape, noting that Angostura Bitters has consistently ranked among the top 10 exports from Trinidad and Tobago to the UK. He remarked, “Angostura Bitters can be found in every single corner of the world. We are truly proud of what Angostura® has accomplished over the last 200 years.”
