Angostura’s premium rum range, specifically Angostura® 1824, Angostura 1919® and Angostura® 1787, had the distinct honour of winning a Quality Award, along with special recognition for their exceptional design, at the 19th Edition of the ExpoCaribe International Fair. It was held from June 26-29 in the historic city of Santiago, Cuba.
This prestigious event provided both domestic and foreign companies with the opportunity to share their business portfolios, consisting of products, services and new technologies with Cuba. At the trade fair, Angostura® showcased its world-class quality rum portfolio in a market celebrated for its rich rum heritage. The award which the Company won was based on the following criteria of the judges for qualification: the best packaging and label designs; the quality of the presentation of the rums and for being “eye-catching”. This is the first time that a rum producer has won an award at the ExpoCaribe International Fair.
Mr. Andrei Eddo – Angostura’s Area Manager, Commercial Sales, received the Quality Award – Special Mention Design on behalf of the Company from Cuba’s new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Trinidad and Tobago, His Excellency Gustavo D. Véliz Olivare at a cocktail reception held to welcome the new Ambassador.
The reception was attended by Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICARICOMOM Affairs.
